Privacy Policy
Effective date: 28 October 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Kaizen Wellness International LLC, a Delaware limited liability company operating the Jacque Visagie | MEN. GREATER LIVES coaching brand (“Company”, “we”, “us”), handles personal information through jacquevisagie.com, its checkout pages, coaching services, communications and related programmes. For privacy requests, write to [email protected].
1. Scope and responsible organisation
This Policy applies when you browse our site, subscribe to updates, contact us, submit an enquiry or application, pay for an Exploration Call or other service, book through Acuity, join private or group coaching, attend live sessions or events, or use digital resources such as prerecorded video, audio, courses, downloads and memberships when offered. Kaizen Wellness International LLC is responsible for decisions about its own collection and use of personal information. Service providers may independently control some information under their own policies.
2. What information we collect
- Identity and contact: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, time zone, and billing or organisational contact details when needed.
- Purchases and bookings: offer, transaction status, payment reference, invoice or receipt information, appointment date, cancellation or rescheduling records and communication preferences. Payment card data is processed by our payment providers; we do not need your full card number for coaching administration.
- Coaching and applications: goals, personal circumstances you choose to share, answers to booking questions, reflections, progress updates, assessments, feedback, notes and correspondence.
- Digital participation: course access, content progress, event registration, community contributions, messages, submitted worksheets, downloads and interactions where those services are offered.
- Technical and website: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location inferred from network data, cookies, page visits, referral sources, security logs and analytics data where enabled.
- Audio, video and images: your voice or image when you participate in live online sessions and any recordings where recording has been clearly disclosed and is lawful.
3. Sensitive information
Our coaching may involve personal relationships, identity, health, emotions, beliefs or other sensitive matters. Please provide only what is relevant. We do not require detailed medical or psychiatric information to purchase an Exploration Call. Where special-category or sensitive personal information is handled, we take additional care and rely on an appropriate lawful basis, including explicit consent when required. We do not sell confidential coaching disclosures or use them for public testimonials without appropriate permission.
4. How information is collected
Information may come directly from you through forms, checkouts, questionnaires, emails, calls, WhatsApp, event participation and content you submit. We also receive necessary transaction, booking or engagement information from providers such as Kajabi, Stripe and Acuity, and technical information through website systems. If information is obtained from another source where permitted, we provide appropriate notice where legally required.
5. Why we process information
We use information to provide requested content and services; process purchases and refunds; arrange appointments and WhatsApp Video calls; send confirmations, reminders and service messages; conduct coaching and appropriate follow-up; provide access to paid programmes; answer enquiries; administer accounts and records; prevent fraud and maintain security; comply with tax, accounting and legal duties; and understand and improve website and service performance. Where permitted, we also send newsletters, article announcements and marketing based on your choices and applicable rules.
6. Lawful grounds and your choices
Depending on location and context, processing may be necessary for a contract, compliance with law, legitimate business interests that do not override your rights, protection of vital interests, or consent. Some information, such as contact and payment details, is necessary to fulfil a booking; optional biography, survey answers and marketing subscriptions are voluntary. Declining required booking information may prevent us from providing the requested service. You can withdraw consent where consent is the relevant lawful basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
7. Payments, scheduling and communications providers
We use third-party services that may include Kajabi (website, checkout, email and digital delivery), Stripe (payment processing), Acuity Scheduling (appointment availability and booking questionnaires), and WhatsApp/Meta (messaging and video calls). We may also use service providers for email, hosting, analytics, technical support, bookkeeping and secure storage. We share only information reasonably necessary for the service, contractual obligations or legal requirements. Each provider's own privacy notice applies to its independent processing.
8. Booking and transactional emails
After payment for an Exploration Call, we may email you the Acuity scheduling link and information needed to arrange your WhatsApp Video call. Acuity may send confirmation, rescheduling and reminder emails. You may reply to transactional emails to request booking help where the sender address accepts replies. These service messages are distinct from optional marketing. You may opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us, without losing essential appointment and payment notices.
9. Live calls, recordings and replays
One-to-one coaching calls are not automatically authorised for public recording or publication. Where a call or event will be recorded, we will provide appropriate advance notice and obtain any consent required by law, particularly for private sessions. Group events or training sessions may offer recordings or replays if disclosed for that event. Recording, automated transcription, AI analysis, public promotion or testimonial use will not be assumed merely because you attend or buy a service. We will describe any such processing when it is actually offered.
10. Marketing, analytics and cookies
Essential website cookies support site functionality, security and checkout. Analytics, email engagement measurements and advertising technologies may be used if enabled on our site, subject to applicable notice and consent requirements. Your browser may provide cookie controls and our site may offer additional choices where required. We do not claim that simply visiting the site constitutes consent to every optional tracking technology.
11. Who may receive information
Access is limited to people and providers with a legitimate need to support our services, such as the coach, authorised administration or technical providers and professional advisers. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to address fraud or a legal claim, or with your valid direction or consent. We do not sell identifiable private coaching notes to data brokers. If the business undergoes a legitimate reorganisation or transfer, information may transfer subject to appropriate legal safeguards and notice.
12. International transfers
The Company is registered in the United States and some service providers may process or store data in the United States or other countries. Depending on your location, cross-border transfers are made using applicable legal mechanisms and safeguards. Where South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) applies, we take account of its rules on international transfers. Where European or UK data-protection law applies, relevant lawful transfer measures are used where required.
13. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards suitable for the information and service, including access restrictions and reputable service providers. No electronic platform is entirely risk-free. Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, continuing relationships, recordkeeping, lawful tax and accounting obligations, dispute resolution and security; we then delete, anonymise or securely retain it where law requires. Retention periods vary by category and legal requirements.
14. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing or direct marketing, withdraw consent, and obtain information about applicable transfers or recipients. Some jurisdictions also provide data portability or rights relating to automated decision-making. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited records where law requires. Please contact [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request”.
15. South African residents
Where POPIA applies, you may request access, correction, deletion or objection as provided by the Act and complain to the South African Information Regulator. Further information about the regulator and its current complaint procedures is available at inforegulator.org.za. The provision of information is mandatory only where needed to enter into or perform the service, or where required by law; other information is voluntary.
16. Residents of other jurisdictions
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, applicable US state privacy laws or other local laws apply to our activities and to you, we will respect rights they provide, which may include access, deletion, correction, objection, portability and limits on targeted advertising or sale/sharing. These rights vary and are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. We do not claim every regional law applies to every visitor or transaction.
17. Children
Our personal coaching checkout is generally intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly invite children to register for adult coaching or provide sensitive personal information. If we learn we have collected information from a child without an appropriate lawful basis or required guardian authorisation, we will take appropriate steps to address it.
18. Third-party sites and changes
Links to third-party websites, booking providers or social media services lead to independent privacy practices. We may revise this Policy to reflect service, technology or legal changes. Material changes will be brought to your attention when law requires, and the effective date will be updated. Changes do not remove rights you already hold.
