COACH. FATHER. FOUNDER.

I’m Jacque Visagie.

I help men understand themselves, navigate change and build a life they can follow through on.

I bring more than 16 years in transformation and behaviour change, the experience of building a business, and a personal understanding of what it takes to begin again.

Our work starts with your life: the responsibilities you carry, the man you want to be and what matters enough to act on.

I know what it means to rebuild a life.

For around twenty years, marriage and family shaped the life I knew. In 2024, I came out publicly as a gay man and went through separation. I had to work out how to live honestly, remain present as a father and build a new direction.

Speaking my truth opened a new chapter. Living it required daily decisions: how I would relate to people, what I would take responsibility for and which values would guide me.

I learned how much of a man’s identity can become tied to the roles he fills. When those roles change, questions about belonging, purpose and self-worth can become very real.

Your story will have its own shape. You might be navigating a separation, a career change, questions about identity or a life that has become difficult to recognise as your own. I bring a willingness to listen closely and help you make sense of your next step.

Fatherhood keeps my values practical.

I’m Luke’s dad. Swimming, training, playing and being together are some of the moments I value most.

Fatherhood makes my priorities real. My work and ambition need to make room for being available, paying attention and enjoying the life we share.

I understand the responsibility of providing and the effort it takes to stay present. The ordinary moments are part of the life I’m working to build.

Training is a part of my life I love.

I enjoy lifting weights, cycling and the challenge of getting stronger and more capable. Physical activity gives me energy, structure and a place to put my commitment to excellence into practice.

I have spent years building my strength and physique. Progress has come through repeated effort, learning, recovery and the willingness to keep improving.

For me, being a man includes strength, responsibility, warmth and the courage to grow. I want to be capable in my work, present with the people I love and able to enjoy an active life.

That is the perspective I bring to coaching: choose what matters, give it a plan and practise the commitments that make it real.

I know the responsibility of building a business.

Building Kaizen Wellness has meant developing programmes, serving clients, making decisions and carrying responsibility for the direction of the business.

I know how much of your attention work can ask for. There are decisions to make, people relying on you and ambitions that keep pulling you forward.

My own life keeps teaching me to be deliberate about where that effort goes. The standard I want to live by includes the quality of my work, my health, my relationships and the time I give my son.

When we work together, we look at what success means in your life and the commitments that will help you build it.

The experience behind my coaching.

I founded Kaizen Wellness and built a business around helping people turn intention into consistent action. Across the Kaizen ecosystem, we are approaching 10,000 client transformations.

My work spans private coaching, structured physical transformation, group education and corporate presentations. These photographs give you a glimpse of the people and settings behind that work.

Founder · Kaizen Wellness

I develop the coaching approach, programmes and education behind the 12-Week Kaizen Wellness Method, SHRED and our Executive offering. My work brings together nutrition, training, recovery, accountability and personal development.

I have worked with men across different ages, backgrounds and responsibilities, including entrepreneurs, professionals, fathers and public figures. Each person brings a different starting point and a different definition of progress.

Private coaching for men

My private practice focuses on personal leadership, high performance, life direction, identity and values. We make space for honest reflection, then turn it into decisions and actions you can carry into everyday life.

Running my own business also gives me a direct understanding of uncertainty, responsibility and the pressure to keep delivering when other people depend on you.

Training & professional development

My professional development includes high-performance coaching training through the High Performance Institute, alongside ongoing learning in behaviour change, nutrition, exercise and personal development.

I combine that learning with years of practical coaching, feedback and programme development.

Speaking & education

I teach through live talks, group coaching, audio lessons and digital programmes. My topics include capacity, behaviour change, personal leadership, physical transformation and building a life from your values.

Based in Pretoria, South Africa. Coaching in English and Afrikaans, with online sessions available internationally.

Understanding yourself becomes useful in how you live.

I created the Capacity Framework to help people locate the areas of life that need attention. We explore six connected areas: regulation, recovery, cognitive load, identity and meaning, physical systems, and emotional processing.

That gives us a practical starting point. We can examine the demands you face, the patterns you repeat and the support you need to follow through.

I’ll ask direct questions, challenge assumptions and help you choose workable actions. We might prepare for a difficult conversation, set a boundary, rebuild a routine or give an ambitious goal a clear plan.

Your values guide the work. We review what happens when you put it into practice and adjust from there.

You’ll have my attention, honesty and commitment.

Our conversations are a place to speak openly, think carefully and decide what you want to do next. I’m curious about how you see your life, the pressures you carry and the values you want to live from.

I’ll ask direct questions and help you examine assumptions. We’ll translate what you learn into practical actions: a conversation, a boundary, a routine, a decision or a plan for a bigger goal.

Your progress gives us something concrete to review. We look at what you tried, what happened and what needs adjusting. That ongoing attention is how we make the work useful in everyday life.

I coach online in English and Afrikaans, working with men in South Africa and internationally.
